If you are new to Pilates, or new to our studio, check out the important tips, new client deals and frequently asked questions; They will give you a loving jumpstart into your Pilates journey with us. We can’t wait to meet you and to help you connect to your core!


Important Tips

  • Our team of fabulous instructors are in high demand, and there is sometimes a waitlist for certain times. We are working on growing our team and will try our best to get you in at a time that works for you. So… if you don’t see what you’re looking for, please email us at info@bolderpilates.com and we will move mountains to try to get you in!

  • If you don’t already have one in our system (you may already have a MindBody account), but you do need to be registered with Bolder Pilates as well. Register HERE.

  • This is crucial! Allowing notifications on your client profile page will allow you to receive purchase and appointment confirmations! Also, sign up for text reminders if you’d like to get reminders via phone for appointments.

  • We never flood your inbox, and this is where you will be notified of new classes, and studio sales..especially flash sales that usually last only one day, and you don’t want to miss them!

  • We have them for sale at the studio if you need them, so make sure you bring them to each session.


New to Pilates?

Start with the new client deal of 3 Private Sessions, even if your goal is to enter group classes. Pilates has its own language, actions, apparatus setups and adjustments to become familiar with. The learning curve is usually quick, but we want to make sure you start learning the RIGHT way for YOUR unique body so that we can ensure your safety, and so you get the most out of your workouts.

3 Private Sessions
Includes Initial session + 2 Additional Private Sessions – $235 ($285 value)

We truly tailor each workout to every unique body that comes though our door. Whether you’re a Pilates beginner, or just coming to see us for the first time, we start with an initial session , where we get to know you and your unique body as well as your goals. This is our opportunity to see how your body moves, areas of weakness/tightness or muscular imbalance, as well as an introduction (or re-introduction) to the fundamental Pilates principles. Then, utilizing the knowledge gained in your initial session, we will expand on the Pilates principles in your next 2 private sessions…working on the mat and varied apparatus to strengthen, lengthen and tone your entire body. This is a great way to get started on your Pilates journey. If you are an experienced Pilates practitioner, our first session will be a fantastic way for us to get to know you and your body so we can create a custom workout program and trajectory that’s exactly right for you.

*All New client 3-packs expire 6 weeks from date of purchase, so we recommend booking all 3 as soon as you purchase them.

**You do not need to book all 3 sessions with the same instructor, although you are welcome to; many of our clients love having new sets of eyes on their body, and benefit from the diversity in backgrounds and training among our team!


New to our studio, but not new to Pilates?

You can still purchase our new client 3-private session package listed above if you’re looking for private training. However, if you’re wanting to jump into classes, and have prior Pilates experience, we have a great deal for a 3-pack of classes to get you moving with us.

This is the perfect way to jump into working out with us in the studio - we have lots of fun and challenging classes and levels to choose from - check out our services page for a full list of classes. New to Pilates? We strongly recommend starting out with our 3-Private session special to learn the fundamentals and gain confidence on the equipment first…Then we will utilize this knowledge as you continue your work with the added energy and camaraderie of fellow Pilates practitioners.

New Client FAQ

We'd love to welcome you to Bolder Pilates. Please read through our Frequently Asked Questions below to help you know what to expect at your first visit, and feel free to contact us if your questions aren't answered here.

  • New to Pilates? We recommend starting with our 3 pack of privates special above (best deal!) even if your goal is to enter group classes. The learning curve is very quick, but it’s truly a different language, and we want to make sure you learn the RIGHT way from the start so you get the most out of your workouts.

    Not new to Pilates, but new to our studio? Request a Private Session (“appointment”), or directly book a group class, whichever fits your needs. We always prefer to see people one on one (but this is not mandatory) before group classes so we get a chance to learn about you and your body...then we can help guide you to the appropriate class.

  • Search private session availability and register for classes by clicking HERE, which will direct you to our MindBody scheduler. Not finding something that works for you or just simply prefer to chat with us to get scheduled? Reach out to us at info@bolderpilates.com.

    Prefer to use a phone app to schedule? Download the MindBody app to make scheduling with us as simple as possible. If you do not have a MindBody account, you will need to register for one. Favorite us on the app and then you can schedule both private appointments and group classes with a just a touch.

  • Absolutely!* This is the perfect time to start your Pilates program. Pilates is inherently rehabilitative, focusing on proper structural alignment and correcting muscular imbalance in the body. We specialize in a therapeutic approach, and our passion is teaching you the tools IN the studio to help you live the boldest life you can OUTSIDE the studio.

    *If you are recovering from surgery or a serious injury, we recommend having your Doctor’s approval before starting any exercise regimen.

  • Noooooo! Pilates was created by a man, and is greatly beneficial to every BODY, of any age or ability. In fact, at our studio we have about 40% male clients. It is absolutely the best method for creating strength from the inside out and a deep awareness between body and mind. Professional athletes (both men and women) have been using Pilates to stay strong and injury free for decades.
