SUPilates is Back - Thursdays 10:00am
Weekly classes led by Bolder Pilates at the Boulder Reservoir, Thursdays at 10:00 am. Last class of the season is September 20th.
We’ve all heard of SUP yoga, but we’ve brought the Pilates studio to the Boulder Reservoir for SUPilates. Enjoy your Pilates mat session while floating on water. Sound impossible? It’s not with the stand up paddle board (SUP board). Truly the closest thing to walking on water, with SUPilates you will find your core in a way you didn’t think was possible, thanks to the unique stability challenge the SUP board offers. In addition to the Pilates movements and paddling work on the board, we will begin each class with a brief warm-up and paddling tutorial on land to get the body prepared to get on the board. This will be a fun movement class that will combine a little SUPing and our custom SUPilates moves. You will leave feeling worked, but mostly it will be a blast. Feel free to stick around after class to enjoy the water and mountain views.
YOU DON’T NEED ANY PRIOR PILATES OR PADDLING EXPERIENCE TO COME, just a thirst for fun, adventure, and a great workout. The only things you need to bring are: a towel, sunscreen, and whatever clothing you’re comfortable in (we usually wear shorts or capri workout pants with a bathing suit underneath in case a swim tickles your fancy).
